Installing rewards for Sims3

I know that this topic has been put up before.
I have tried everything that has been mentioned.
Deleting the sims composite file, even rebooting after each install and doing them one at a time.
Yet I still cannot get any of the items to show up in my game.
Is there anyway to get these in just a straight file without the installer program?
Or any tweak that can get these appear in the game?

I can guess a lot now, and that's hard without any details such as operating system, game, expansion...version...

The Installer should prevent exactly the troubles your having. I don't need to delete anything!

The most simple idea .. Have you enabled custom content in your game settings?
