I've been using these mods and packs for a while but I've always wanted to know why are these clothing packs and etc have to be installed instead of being a .package file like other mods and packs from other websites?

Hi,

You can just download the Manual- or MAC- Installation files if you want to install the mods manually. These archives contain the package file/s.
