To help I need more details. What exact version of The Sims do you use and how exactly have you installed the mod?

when i install the mod a tab always pop outs saying "The windows registry of your 'The Sims 3' installation was not found." but it said that i can lead it manually to the target directory. when i lead the directions to the sims 3 folder and then click next another tab would pop out saying "The target directory is incorrect. Installation will be aborted!"

i'm so confused. I keep on trying it several timesbut it still won't worka. please help meee!

I downloaded the sims 3 from steam!

You have to point the installer to your game installation folder.

has anyone gotten this to work with steam??? because no matter the file location I pick it does not work... this would be best avoided if it could manually be downloaded then put into the right place after.....
