So, I started playing a ghost. She came with the neighborhood.
There's a few differences that I've found with her. Other people can't call her up to visit.
And, even though she's at Piano Level 6, she never gets the "Write Songs" option. It's too bad, since that's one of the aspirations she needs to achieve to move on to the next level.
Have you played a ghost yet? How has it been for you? Any glitches or interesting things happening?

I play a ghost sometimes. I had this guy start a daycare (in the sims 3), but he'd just get stuck walking back and forth while the toddlers cried for food or fun. So weird...

She just needed to get to a higher level to write songs.
My only problem with ghosts is that you can't call them on the phone. My Sims have to bump into them somewhere, or get invited out for breakfast or a date (apparently ghosts get bored and hungry).
